Identify the component
We identify the area to be treated and review the materials, visible condition and operator's requirements.

07 / WIND TURBINES
Cleaning exterior wind turbine surfaces and components suitable for drone work. Every operation starts with an assessment of the installation and its surroundings.
OUR APPROACH
A wind turbine's geometry, materials and operating conditions require a specific scope. We coordinate with the operator and assess which surfaces our equipment can treat.
THE SCOPE
The tower, blades and nacelle have different access and treatment conditions. Each component is assessed individually before it is included in the proposal.
HOW WE WORK
We identify the area to be treated and review the materials, visible condition and operator's requirements.
We agree the working conditions, the installation's availability and the boundaries of the surrounding work area.
We adapt the method to the approved surface and record the work according to the agreed deliverables.
PREVENTION AND EFFICIENCY
On components that can be treated by drone from the ground, we avoid exposing people to height for those tasks. Access methods and supporting equipment that can be replaced are assessed with the operator, alongside the installation's shutdown and safety conditions.
Every operation still requires its own risk assessment, safety coordination and the permits applicable to the work and the site.
Safety, planning and savingsBEFORE WE START
Feasibility depends on height, geometry, component condition, site conditions and the operator's requirements. The proposal is issued after those factors have been assessed.
We can carry out visual drone inspection to record visible changes, such as marks, apparent delamination or areas needing review. The images do not replace a specialist structural assessment or guarantee detection of internal damage.
Location, model or approximate dimensions, the component to be cleaned or inspected, height, known condition and access and shutdown conditions. The person responsible for the installation must be involved in planning.
