Understand the material
We study the surface and architectural features to assess their condition and the treatment's compatibility.
03 / HERITAGE AND MONUMENTS
Cleaning of historic facades and monuments following assessment of materials and conservation needs. Drone use depends on feasibility, setting and building requirements.
OUR APPROACH
For historic buildings and monuments, cleaning starts with an assessment of stone, finishes and their state of conservation. We assess the scope with the owner and the responsible technical team. Methods, preliminary tests and possible drone use depend on material compatibility and the building’s conservation requirements.
BEFORE EVERY OPERATION
We study the surface and architectural features to assess their condition and the treatment's compatibility.
We consider low-pressure spraying where appropriate for the material and its conservation needs.
We prepare access and the work area, and review the requirements and authorisations for each operation.
PREVENTION AND EFFICIENCY
When the surface and surroundings allow drone work from the ground, we avoid exposing people to height for that task. Less scaffolding can also mean less setup work and lower associated costs.
For heritage buildings, planning also accounts for the property's protection requirements. Every operation still requires its own risk assessment, safety coordination and the permits applicable to the work and the site.
Safety, planning and savingsCOMPLEMENTARY EQUIPMENT
Every type of stone and every building needs its own assessment. The method is defined before work is scheduled.
BEFORE WE START
No. Feasibility depends on the material, its condition, geometry, surroundings and operating conditions. Fragile or sensitive features may require other methods or be excluded from the scope. The initial assessment must establish what can be treated and under which conditions.
No. Cleaning has a defined scope and does not replace diagnosis or restoration of deteriorated materials. If loose material, cracks or delicate finishes are observed, the intervention must be reviewed with the responsible technical team before treatment is applied.
Send us the location, photographs, approximate height and area, surface material and the areas you want cleaned. Include available access and working hours. This helps us assess the scope and whether a site visit is needed.
