How drone cleaning is prepared
The work begins before the flight: understanding the surface, defining the treatment and coordinating the application.
First, understand the surface
A façade, a roof and a heritage feature require different approaches. Before defining a cleaning plan, we review the material, its visible condition and the areas to be treated. Location, height and access help us understand the brief and prepare an assessment suited to that building.
Then, adapt the application
The nozzle delivers the treatment to the surface. The method depends on the material and its condition; where appropriate, a local test helps guide the application. There is no single recipe: the scope is defined for the areas and materials included in the work.
The drone’s path and coordination with the team form part of the operation. Planning access and working conditions with the person responsible for the property helps organise the intervention around its setting.
Finally, look again
Reference photographs, the areas covered and observations make it possible to review the work. An equivalent framing helps show the condition before and after. Documentation is defined as part of the brief, so the person responsible for the building knows what was treated and what information they receive.
